Terms & Conditions:

 

1: 100% Payment will be made on collection or delivery via Card or Cash.

 

2: Cancellation of delivery en-route will be subject to an added charge.

 

3: The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations herein if the delay or failure is due to causes outside the reasonable control of the company.

 

4: A £25.00 per hour standing charge will be applied if goods are not available at the agreed pick-up time.

 

4a: A £25.00 per hour standing charge will be applied if goods are not able to be accepted and signed for upon delivery. (Unless pre-organised)

 

5: It’s the customers responsibility to ensure any goods being towed (for example: Caravans, Horseboxes, Etc) has been checked and is road legal. Typical checks would include: Tires, Brakes, Towing frame ETC.

 

5a: If items being towed are not safe and road worthy upon inspection on collection, which results in ourselves not being able to deliver and the job to be cancelled, 50% of the invoice total will be charged.

6: If the item in question (for example: Boats, Lawnmowers, Etc.) has already been loaded onto a Customers trailer, it is the customers sole responsibility to ensure it has been loaded correctly and securely.

7: Any & All Dangerous Goods must be disclosed by the Customer.

• “Dangerous Goods” means dangerous substances listed by the Health and Safely Commission in Part 1 of the Authorized and Approved List of Dangerous Substances, explosives, radioactive substances and any other substance presenting a similar hazard.

8: Savage Transport shall not in any circumstances be liable in respect to a delivery where there has been fraud on the part of the Customer or the owner of the goods.

​

9: If for whatever reason payment cannot be made after the item has been loaded/unloaded, a standing charge will be applied until payment is made.

​

10: Please insure the spare wheel is accompanied with your Caravan/Horsebox/Trailer Etc. In the event there is a puncture and no spare wheel is present, there will be an added charge of £25.00 per hour while we wait for someone to come and change the wheel. The cost of the replacement Tyre would not be the responsibility of savage transport.
